BLURRING THE LINES, the Discovery X is the pinnacle of Unidan’s innovation and engineering expertise. It blurs the lines of expeditions with luxuries commonly found at home. Thanks to years of production, and experience in remote travel, the Discovery X has no bounds but to it’s owner, it will exceed all expectations. 

 BUILT WITH EXPERIENCE, the Discovery X’s build quality is second to none. Designed to withstand the harshest environments; they are fully sealed to keep dust out, while equipped with water-resistant materials to ensures the longevity and ease of maintenance. . 

 A STEP ABOVE THE COMPETITION, the Discovery X uses 59mm composite external panels. This provides high thermal insulation and strength, not only to the inside but also to the plumbing. To prevent water from freezing in cold climates, the Discovery features Unidan’s signature internal plumbing. 

 FIND COMFORT, with a fully equipped kitchen, queen size mattress, enclosed bathroom and even luxuries such as a washing machine and oven. 

 USING THE LATEST LITHIUM TECHNOLOGY from Enerdrive, the Discovery X boasts up to 600Ah of battery capacity and up to 1300W of solar power to ensure your peace of mind. With any remote travel, this mobile power plant will keep you going and remain self sufficient.

Fitted with a washing machine, hot water & heating system, oven and Isotherm fridges/freezers, this blurs the lines between glamping and living at home.

STAY FRESH & CLEAN

With the option for a washing machine, the Discovery X can free up your day for more exploring. Set and leave while you hike, ride or simply relax, and come back to fresh clothes.

HEATING & HOT WATER

Using the latest in heating solutions, the Discovery X uses a diesel system that will keep you cozy during the Winters. Combined with the hot water system, everything can be controlled via the main panel.

HOME COOKED MEALS

Safe, quick and efficient, the diesel or induction cooktops provide the basic tools for cooking, however combined with the optional oven, you can prepare food just like at home..

Power Plant

Configurable up to 600Ah, the Discovery X is a mobile power plant. With years of experience in remote travel and in-house electrical specialist, this body was designed to be completely self sufficient. We believe it’s important to put in as much as the body draws out. With that in mind, the team has equipped the Discovery X with up to 1300W of solar on the roof, integrated into the custom Unidan Body Scrub Bars. 

 With 240V power-points throughout the body internally and externally, you can run your induction cooktops, coffee machine, hair dryer or whatever other appliance you desire. USB and cigarette points are also integrated into the design to charge your phone or power other devices. 

 With up to 2 inverters, you can power a number of heavy power appliances like the oven, air conditioning and washing machine.

Storage Solutions

Like any signature Unidan builds, storage is an important factor considered when planning out a design. With most expedition vehicles, storage is scarce due to size limitations. However the Discovery X doesn’t compromise and provides plenty of storage throughout the body internally and externally while keeping the space open and comfortable..

OVERHEAD CUPBOARDS

The Discovery X features just under 1000L of storage from the overhead cupboards. Lockable overhead cupboards will be perfect for storing your clothes or linen.

KITCHEN

Self locking and soft closing, the drawers provide ample storage for your cutlery, kitchen equipment and crockery. Constructed of aluminium and water-resistant composite panels, the kitchen is easily maintained and cleaned.

EXTERNAL HATCHES

For outdoor equipment and accessories preferred to keep separate, the Outbound storage hatches are perfect for storing them. Easily accessible, lockable and completely sealed from the inside, these hatches will prevent dust and odour from entering the inside of the body.

MOTORBIKE CARRIER

Perfect for the thrill seekers, the Discovery X houses a garage which can feature a motorbike carrier. Similar idea as the original Discovery’s motorbike platform, this design incorporates it with the body for a fully secure and lockable garage.

Ready & Prepared

REAR GARAGE

Designed to house a motorcycle, the garage can also be used to store tools, motorcycle gear and spare parts for both the truck and bike. With storage for tools and spare parts, you can travel with the confidence that you’re prepared.

DUAL SPARE WHEEL ROOF CARRIER

With the addition of the garage, the rear boot doesn’t have the option of Unidan’s signature Rear Wheel Carrier. An alternative solution was found to mount two spare wheels on the Cab Scrub Bars. Thanks to the sheer width of the Zetros and bigger vehicles, this was made possible and operates like Unidan’s usual single wheel Cab Scrub Bar wheel carrier.

The Great Outdoors

With many options including the choice of a TV, the Discovery X can entertain you and your guests by bringing the entertainment outside. With music playing, and food, the Discovery X helps you live the life of the great outdoors, all under the protection of the electric awning.

DIGITAL ENTERTAINMENT WHEREVER & WHENEVER

Depending on your preferences, the entertainment hatch can house TV, stereo and speakers or just power outlets for those who want a digital detox.
