Named after Australia's favourite cartoon hound, Blue Dog (or Bluey). Other than the obvious colour selection, Bluey is an Australian icon, a household name, full of adventures and new experiences. That's just the tip of the iceberg for this U1700 Unimog! 

This Unimog has had a new lease on life. We started off with our complete post-auction service and inspection, replacing all required components and rectifying any mechanical issues found. We also replaced the engine with a top-end rebuilt engine, replaced the gearbox with a rebuilt gearbox and completed all other major mechanical works listed below. Then it was time for the fun stuff! In all our complete cosmetic restorations, the cab is removed from the chassis, the cab is then sand blasted back to bare metal, body work is completed including the raised roof, widened footwells and panel work. The chassis is steam cleaned multiple times and painted in a heavy duty chassis paint. We then left it up to our Unimog community to choose the cab colour, Metallic TRX Hydro Blue!! With a few more essential Unidan upgrades, this Unimog is now ready for it's new home and the possibilities are endless for your own customisations. How will you use this Mog and what will you add?
