This one-of-a-kind U5023 Unimog Slide-On Expedition Vehicle is fully equipped and ready for permanent off-road travel or weekenders. Fitted with most of Unidan Engineering signature accessories and design components, you can set up camp anywhere and enjoy your Unimog for both work and play. This slide-on is equipped with the highest quality accessories on the market.

The body’s 29mm composite panels provide great insulation throughout both summer and winter climates. The body features a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with compost toilet, and a permanent platform queen size bed. Like many of the Unidan bodies, storage is plentiful in this design with kitchen drawers, overhead cupboards and storage boxes throughout.

29MM COMPOSITE PANELS

These composite panels supply great insulation to our expedition bodies, allowing the heat to escape in hot climates and keeping the cold out when travelling throughout winter.

CUSTOM UNIDAN BARWORK

For protection against the scrub, both the camper body and truck cab have been fitted with Unidan’s custom scrub bars. CAD designed and made in house, these are functional and look great.

POWER SYSTEM

Power At Your Fingertips

A CZONE 5″ Touch Panel is utilised to monitor power and water levels as well as select appropriate setting for short-term storafe, camping or long-term storage. This expedition vehicle is powered by a 300Ah battery system with a 3000W inverter and 900W total Enerdrive Solar Panels. These solar panels are integrated into Unidan’s custom body scrub bars in order to mount flush with the bars for protection whilst driving.

STORAGE

Exterior storage for accessories, recovery gear or equipment such as camping chairs, finishing gear or cooking equipment allow for ample lockable storage space. Each hatch is water sealed and completely separate from the inside of body, keeping dirt ordour from entering the living space. Under dinette drawers allow for personal belongings to be stored safely and securely within the camper, maximising storage space. As well as overhead cupboards above the bed and kitchen. Within the kitchen there are several drawers to store pots and pans, cutlery and other cooking necessities. Throughout the body you will find other small compartments for storage, such as at the end of the bed and overhead.

OVERHEAD CUPBOARDS

Store clothes, equipment or accessories with the internal storage spaces. Lockable overhead cupboards, drawers and other storage compartments are found throughout the body.

KITCHEN DRAWERS

The kitchen features 6 soft-close drawers to stow away your cutlery, kitchen equipment and crockery. While above, the overhead cupboards can store your clothes, books and other accessories.

EXTERNAL HATCHES

The external storage hatches on both sides of the body allow you to store items which you want to keep separate from the living space.

REAR WHEEL CARRIER

The rear wheel carrier is a Unidan custom design which allows for greater storage and easier tyre change practices. It also provides space for all recovery gear to be easily accessible.

UNDER DINETTE DRAWERS

With all storage space optimised, there is even space under the seats to store your belongings. As well as the elctrical compartment to ensure all electronics are safe and easy to reach.

BEDSIDE STORAGE

Easy-to-reach bedside storage shelves and lockers on both ends of the bed to house items with convenience.

HVAC & Plumbing

This Slide-On Camper is fitted with the widely recognised Eberspächer diesel hot water and heater system. With up to 4.3kW of heating power, it’ll keep you warm whilst the Camframo fans will keep you cool during the hotter days.

Kitchen

With an extendable kitchen bench, the extra space makes this kitchen practical and very useable. The highly durable and easy to clean benchtop allows for quicker tidy up and carefree cooking. Complimented by a built in sink, diesel cooktop, generous fridge/freezer and microwave, this kitchen is set up with all the creature comforts of home.

With ample storage space under the bench, in the overhead cupboards above the bench and above the fridge, there is more than enough space for all necessary cooking utensils and appliances.

ROTOPAX PACKS

Rotopax are mounted to the body to securely carry extra gasoline, diesel, water or adblue. Have peace-of-mind knowing that you have additional supplies on board if they are required during your travels.

ELECTRIC AWNING

For quick and easy set up, this body has an electric awning which extends with the click of a button. Don’t waste time setting up poles and a tarp!

SLIDE-ON/OFF

The slide-on feature of this expedition body allows the camper body to be set up and left at camp if extreme off-roading is wanting to be done or at home if the tray is required for a more practicle, every-day use. This is a great way to be able to use this vehicle for many different applications, every day of the year.

The camper can be used safely whilst on stilts, so setting this up as a “base camp” is a great way to avoid having to set up and pack up whenever you want to adventure during trips away.
