THE STORY
Lucas had a bold vision – not another typical Land Cruiser or Patrol build, but something truly monumental for The Springs 4x4 Park's line up. He wanted a rig that would turn heads and stand out. Enter Crusty, the U1700 restoration project. With the support of some amazing companies eager to bring this ambitious project to life, we embarked on an unforgettable journey.
The twist? We had just 4 weeks to complete the build. With a tight timeline, a slew of high-quality gear, and a crusty old U1700, our team faced an enormous challenge. But, as always, we took it head-on! In less than 4 weeks, "Crusty" went from being an old and crusty 1986 U1700 to the beast it is today.
